Fast forward to our move to Omaha.....Kevin and I never intended to stay in our cozy apartment for long so we didn't feel the need to invest in patio stuff for our very small concrete slab we like to call "our patio." Well, that all changed this year - yippee!! The other day we were talking about how much we miss sitting on our old patio just hanging out and relaxing....which lead to us getting this cute little table and chairs set.....
Clearly, I still have a long way to go but, it's a start. My next step is to add on to the small garden of potted plants I started last summer. I'm definitely going to do basil, thyme, rosemary, mint, cilantro, and tomatoes again but I don't think I'm going to do strawberries again - they didn't work out so well (I'm sure it was more me though - lol). Any suggestions on fruits, veggies or herbs that might work well as a potted plant?

Wow! Looks great!!! My hubby and his dad built a pergola together and he so wants us to do one for our house down in Texas!
Best of luck hun... everything looks great!
My in-laws have a herb garden and it is DELISH! They also have a cherry tomato plant that has done well. There really isn't anything quite like fresh produce :) Good luck with it!
That's sooo neat and so much fun!! Ooh you'll have to give tips on your herb and tomato garden, I've been wanting to do those for soo long :)!
Looks so good!!
I love garden/ outdoor design, hence I am a landscape architect! If you need any ideas let me know! That is such a fun space!
Thanks for following my blog!! Yours is adorable, I am a instant fan... and I love that you are redoing your patio, congrats! xoxo
We love eating outside too! Maybe an Oklahoma thing? It's weird, weather gets nice-out we go!!!
Cute table and chairs!
We got a patio set last year and I love it! The weather has been absolutely perfect this last week to be able to enjoy it again. I agree some plants will liven things up. That is something I lack because I don't have much of a green thumb :(
