Since Tuesday is my "busy" day, I always wake up early Wednesday mornings, check my email and voice mail to see what I missed on Tuesday...well, today, I received an email from a friend back home about yesterday's storms. I feel so bad for everyone that has been affect by all these storms. So, yesterday while I was going on and on.....and on about how beautiful the weather was in Omaha, my home state, Oklahoma, was getting hit by some tornadoes. One of the tornadoes hit a neighborhood where some of my family's friends live (the picture above is from their neighborhood). Our friends homes are all just fine (such a blessing!), just some roof damage but, the neighborhood itself sustained some pretty serious damage. Just in case you're interested, here's the link for the full story. Please join me in keeping everyone affected by these storms in your prayers. Thanks Everyone :)

I saw this on the news this morning. What a shock to get these kind of storms in February.
We had some similar storm damage here in North Texas. I don't think it was quite that bad though.. from what I saw on the news, there weren't that many tornadoes here, but the sirens were going off. Most of them seemed to be in Oklahoma. I'm glad that all of your friends are okay. I feel so badly for those that lose their possessions during storms like this. I'm praying!
Thanks for the heads up. I will have to call the in-laws today to make sure all is well back there.
Wow, I heard about these this morning. How sad :( Definitely praying for Oklahoma.
I heard about the tornadoes this morning on the news. So terrible!!
Gosh so scary!! Can you imagine that happening to your home?? A bunch of horrible tornadoes ripped through here last May, so terrifying!
It was just cloudy where I live and I had no idea serious storms were brewing very near Kristen's work.
I was just glad when everyone was home safe and sound.
I'm glad your friends house wasn't damaged.
