Such a Beautiful Day!

A beautiful but very cold day.

This morning, while I walked to class, snow was falling and it was so windy that I felt as though I was in a snow globe, the snow was just swirling all over the place! I was so disappointed that I didn't have my camera with me.

After class, I headed to the little coffee shop on campus where I ran into a few of my friends. It was so good to see them and catch up! There's just not a whole lot that tops catching up with friends over a cup of coffee while it's snowing outside!

Best of all, I was able to spend some time with Kevin together before he left for TDY. He goes TDY pretty frequently but, I still miss him while he's gone so I was incredibly happy that we were able to spend part of the afternoon together. :)

I spent the rest of the evening watching the Bachelor (such a guilty pleasure), reading some blogs (I heart your blogs) and setting a study schedule (that I really, really want to stick to).

So, I can't say that my day was particularly productive but, it was really enjoyable.

I hope everyone else had a great Monday too!

I had a good Mon. too. The weather was in the low 60's here.

Sounds like it was very cold in Neb. but very pretty. And you're right, nothing like a good cup of coffee with friends on a cold, snowy day.

Hope today is just as good!

Sounds like you guys are getting lots of snow like we are in Michigan! We have a huuuge layer of it, and its freezing too! Coffee and friends sounds like a good way to spend days like these!

My fiance is an ICU nurse. He's worked in the ICU for around 6 years (first as a CSP), and he just loves what he does! What area do you think you will work in? I give so much credit to you nurses! Its amazing what you do day in and day out!

Thanks for the comment about my Bridesmaid cards! I'm sure yours were super cute too!! And, great minds DO think alike! :)

I wanted to stop by and say hello! I do have a question for you, where are you from in Oklahoma? I grew up near Bartlesville.
